- We were here 4 days in September of 2015.
- Number of days needed: at least 3.
- My score: 4/5.
Ibiza, like the others in Balearic archipielago, is also an island with many small coves of white sand, surrounded to a greater or lesser extent by forests, with magnificent cliffs and with a more interesting city from the architectural point of view than you might expect.
But Ibiza is known above all for being a world famous destination in terms of electronic music. The best DJs in the world perform almost daily in their macrodiscos during the 4 months from June to September, most of them rotating according to the day of the week; that explains the reason for the very high prices to enter these places without just including a drink, because top class DJs David Guetta, Bob Sinclar or Calvin Harris among others will perform for at least two hours on Mondays at a massive-disco, on Tuesdays in another, Wednesdays in another, and so on. If we add that the rest of the hours other cache are still playing, it turns out that what we are paying is a concert per night of a world-renowned DJ and his opening act, seen this way does not seem so expensive.
And although we are not electronic music lovers, Ibiza is a place that deserves to be visited for the simple fact of observing the fauna that meets on the island, an attraction itself. You have seen what you have seen before, you will be surprised by the kind of people that you see on the street, the strangest, more quirky and curious in the world maybe.
So those of you who do not know what I am talking about, do not think that you have already passed the age of going to Ibiza, you will not lack fun and entertainment, and of course, you will not regret going.
