The majority of tourists as soon as they arrive in the island go out partying, they go in the morning to any beach, and they repeat. I admit that’s what I did the first time I went. If you have few days, in the end you leave Palma without having visited the center but to eat an ensaimada. Palma is not the best of Mallorca, but it has an excellent cathedral, a larger and more interesting historical center than people think and a very well preserved and situated castle. And yes, beaches and party. And many places to go shopping.
