COLOGNE

ESPAÑOL

  • I was here not so long ago: May 2015.
  • Number of days: one and two nights.
  • My rating is 3/5.

The fourth largest city in Germany after Berlin, Munich and Hamburg. Is the most touristic one in western Germany, promoted in recent years by the proliferation of low-cost flights to Cologne and its northern neighbor Dusseldorf. Moreover, its location makes it a common destination on trips to The Netherlands and Belgium. You can visit it in one day, unless you intend to go to more than one museum. I consider it is an interesting destination, although personally, I don’t think I’d go back in the near future.

THINGS TO DO

  • The Cathedral, the highlight in Cologne.
  • Hohenzollern bridge.
  • Lookout point: the Köln Triangle.
  • Old Town and the riverbank.
  • Museums

NEED TO KNOW

  • Accommodation.
  • Where to eat.
  • Where to drink.
  • Transport:
    • Getting around.
    • Getting there and away.
