- I was here: two days in September 2013.
- How many days are recommended? It can be seen in a day, but I think it is worth seeing and admiring it calmly, I recommend 2.
- My score: 5/5.
I was and I am still absolutely captivated by the beauty of Quebec City, perhaps because of how unexpected it was to me, but whatever it was, there is no room for discussion about it. As a classic style city, Quebec is not only the most beautiful city in Canada, but in the whole of America, and I do not mean North America. By architectural quality and size it is comparable to some of the most beautiful European cities, being the first ones that come to my mind Belgian Ghent and Bruges. This city would undoubtedly be among the most visited in Europe, while modernity has eclipsed it against Montreal, Toronto or Vancouver, although it is true that they have a more benign climate and a globally superior quality of life, they can not compete in terms of charm with the capital of Quebec. The views of the river from its parks and its historic center (UNESCO heritage since 1985) ruled imposingly by the Château Frontenac, form a whole little-known wonder that certainly deserves a visit.
