The long distance company is Via.
BOOKING ONLINE AHEAD IS VITAL to get cheap rates: those who do not get the cheapest Via fare called “Escape” will pay more than double.
Train journeys both to Quebec City and New York City, although slower than the bus, are wonderfully scenic, so I personally recommend them, especially the Amtrak Adirondack Line to New York.
