Its official name is Eka Karya. Like most botanical gardens, it is nice, quiet and spacious. Plant lovers aside, the fact is that I did not find it one of the best I’ve seen (although I admit that the rain did not help) and I see no need to specifically go, unless visitors come to Bali Tree Top Walk or enjoy the area having a picnic. Anyway, it is a short stop-off on virtually all tours leading to superfamous Ulun Danu Beratan, so why not spend a while?
HOW TO GET THERE
Just 3 km away from Ulun Danu Beratan in the center-north of the island.

PRICES AND VISITING TIMES
- Open daily from 7 am to 6 pm, but some greenhouses require to be closed at 4 pm.
- Price: Adult Rp 20,000. Parking 6.000 Rp.
VISIT
The inner zone, the greenhouse, is reserved mostly for plants from dry environments, cactus and agaves type, and some other more delicate ones. There is a section with nearly 300 types of orchids.

The exteriors are my favorite part; delicately care, they are radiant green. It is quite large (157 hectares), so many visitors decide to drive some of the paths to reach areas that interest them and then explore on foot. Some parts have been distributed in a garden style, with wide avenues, benches and picnic areas.

While others, although they have been cleared of vegetation, try to look like the jungle. Requesting permission, you can even camp in here.

There is also the possibility of spending the night in a Guest House which belongs to the garden.
BALI ADVENTURE TREE TOP PARK
Within the garden there is a multiadventure area with zip lines up to 160 meters, suspension bridges and other similar activities. There are 7 possible circuits. Children welcome from 4 years of age; the maximum weight is 120 kg per person:
- Open from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.
- Adult admission $ 28, children $ 18, families (2 adults + 2 children) $ 73. 10% discount if you arrive before 10:30 am. Only allows to use the park for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
