Yoron-to or simply Yoron is one of those amazing places in Japan that almost nobody knows. An islandic paradise, dreamlike, idyllic, with beaches comparable to the best in the Caribbean or Southeast Asia, and at the same time quiet and far from the madding crowd without leaving the most modern country that exists. With a population of just 6,000 inhabitants who speak only Japanese, any foreigner will find it hard to believe that a few days before he was walking through the futuristic Tokyo or the traditional Kyoto.
