- I was here: 2 days in February 1995 and 5 days in May 2008.
- Number of days recommended: to see the city, at least 3. To really enjoy it, one week.
- My score: 4/5.
Rome is a city full of charm. Antiquity and modernity, rural and urban Italy, they are all mixed in here. In Rome you can eat pizza in a typical Italian neighborhood with houses painted in warm colors with green or blue shutters, drink coffee in a Renaissance square, or bike around 2000 years old ruins. Any of these situations would define Rome: enjoy the food, enjoy the environment and enjoy its history. Rome is a great city to be enjoyed at every turn. There are too many tourists and too much traffic, but it would lose some of its essence otherwise.
