CANADIAN ROCKY MOUNTAINS

ESPAÑOL

  • I was here: 7 days in July 2017.
  • Recommended number of days: 7.
  • My score: 5/5.

Perhaps the mountains and lakes set that most positive and flattering adjetives can receive all over the planet. The Himalayas and the Andes are higher and more prolific, but their magnificence is based on the imposingness of their summits rather than on the overwhelming purely aesthetic beauty that Canadian Rockies have, which can only be overshadow by Patagonia, the Southern Alps in New Zealand and their sisters the American Rockies.

Composed of several national parks, this great mountain range is a waste of pointed mountains, turquoise and reflective lakes, dense forests, remarkable glaciers and abundant wildlife. There are routes for all levels, from multiday treks where you must carry everything you need on your shoulders, to countless viewpoints near the roads so that anyone can enjoy the views.
