La Gomera is a jewel of nature, little known by the Spanish themselves. Although it lacks impressive volcanoes, this island has some unique natural wonders in Spain. One of them are Laurisilva forests, a type of rainforest. In Spain they exist only in the Canary Islands. The forest in la Gomera is the largest; located in Garajonay National Park. Another one are Los Órganos (The Organs), an impressive cliff formed by volcanic columns. To properly appreciate the natural beauty of La Gomera, I recommend spending at least 2 days.
