Nagasaki feels like Hiroshima, like atomic bomb, and like curiosity to know what was there after it and what kind of city it is today. History has made this city what it is, an example of human barbarism and a place to learn. The Museum of the Atomic Bomb, the Peace Park and other memorials are must-sees, but fortunately, Nagasaki is more than a war story. It is a much more pleasant city than its sister Hiroshima, with some European-style buildings, parks and gardens, the result of having been the only port opened to western commerce for 200 years, with one of the best urban viewpoints that exist and with a close island unique in the world and extremely interesting.
